Important: Review Before You Start
- An incorrect repair performed by yourself or an unauthorized repair provider may affect your product’s limited warranty. Check your warranty coverage HERE.
- You are performing repairs at your own risk, and RED’s service and support teams will not assist you with your self-service repair.
- If your product is still covered under warranty, or if self-repair is not right for you, we recommend scheduling service directly with RED or a Certified Service Center.

Precautions for Repair
RED is not liable for any damage or defect determined to be caused by repair by a non-authorized service provider, self-repair or non-professional repair of the product. RED is not liable for any resulting damage to the product, person, or property, or any injury or other product safety issue caused by any attempt to repair the product by any person other than RED or a Certified Service Center.
Damage caused by repairs performed by persons other than authorized RED service technicians are not covered by any warranties. Such damage may cause future repairs to be subject to out of warranty costs or render your product ineligible for future repairs by RED.
Failure to follow the repair instructions, or to use appropriate parts and tools, may damage the product or affect the product’s functionality.
- Prior to repairing the product, ensure it is powered off by pressing the Power (ON/OFF) button. Additionally, disconnect the product from all power sources before beginning the repair.
- Always use genuine replacement parts that are specifically designed and tested to meet manufacturer's standards.
- Certain parts, such as sensors and other components, may require calibration to ensure optimal performance after the repair.
- Check for any abnormalities before reassembling.
ESD (Electrostatically Sensitive Devices) Precautions
Many semiconductors and ESD-sensitive components in electronic products are highly susceptible to static discharge and can be easily damaged. Always ensure that the equipment is properly grounded and follow the proper grounding procedures before starting any repair.
- Ensure that static is discharged in the work environment before opening packages containing ESD-sensitive devices.
- Improper grounding can result in ESD damage to electronic components.
How to Order Self-Repair Parts
To request Self-Repair parts, please complete the order form, HERE.
You will be asked to provide the serial number and a photograph clearly indicating the parts being requested. Requests submitted by any other means may not be processed properly.

Placing an order does not guarantee fulfillment. All Self-Repair parts are subject to availability, and RED reserves the right to limit quantities, cancel orders, or discontinue parts without prior notice, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
